I was about 10 years old when Ethan came into my life.
It all started when my dad met this lady named Cindi. I didn’t know much about her, but dinner was always way better when she would cook for us, and she would always throw my green beans away for me once my dad left the table.
From there, I was pretty much sold. I didn’t know what it meant to have a step parent at the time, but before I knew it, I had gained an entirely new family. New cousins, new aunts, new uncles, new grandparents. They didn’t replace the family I already had, but they were the sweetest addition.
And with that addition, came Ethan! He’s my step cousin, and not the kind you see in movies. He’s fun, outgoing, and he doesn’t take life too seriously. He fits right in with my Clymore fam!
As you can probably guess, Ethan had no trouble getting girls growing up, but even I’m shocked at the beauty he scored in Reily. These two fit together so well, and I’m so excited for Reily to officially be a part of our family. I can’t wait to capture their wedding day in November!
Now let’s talk about something for a second – yes, Ethan and Reily are an attractive couple. But there’s something else here that is contributing to the quality of their photos – and it has nothing to do with me! Can you guess what it is?
Spoiler alert: they’re having FUN! Contrary to what it looks like, Ethan and Reily are not models. I provided them with some basic prompts and guidance, and from there, they made the moments their own. The truth is, I’m here to help you feel confident in your photos and it’s my job to tell your love story through the lens of my camera – but you can help by relaxing, having fun, and focusing on your partner. And Ethan and Reily are perfect examples of that!
And one other major tip: your wardrobe is everything when it comes to having professional photos taken. I always tell my couples to bring one casual outfit and one formal outfit. I’m talking long gowns and guys, SUITS! You would be surprised how much more confident, stoic, and manly a guy can feel just by throwing on a suit. Just be sure he irons his shirt, wears a belt, proper shoes, and if he’s really feeling fancy: a watch. 🙂
