Jessica + Tyler’s Engagement Session at Fort Fisher, NC
Jessica + Tyler’s love story is a special one to me, because I knew them when it all started. Actually, let me back up – I knew them before it all started. Tyler and I (also known by his childhood nickname, “Winkie”) go way back! All the way to middle school, to be exact. We went to school together from kindergarten-high school, although we didn’t become friends until about the seventh or eighth grade.
I knew Jessica in high school too, she was a mutual friend through my sister, Tori. She was even our neighbor at one point! Long story short, I’ve known these two separately and now as a couple, and I can say with great confidence God couldn’t have hand picked two people better suited for each other. They laugh, make fun, and were the sweetest to watch through the lens of my camera.
When Jessica reached out and asked if I’d be interested in shooting their wedding next May at Water’s Edge Farms in Benson, North Carolina, it was a no brainer. I can’t wait to capture these two on the most special day of their lives, as their photographer – and an old friend. Congrats, Tyler + Jessica!
