Ryan + Taylor’s Sunflower Field Engagement Session // Dix Park – Raleigh, NC

So, remember Jessica + Tyler from my last blog post? Well, after booking their engagement session, Taylor (who is one of Jessica’s bridesmaids) reached out to me and asked if I’d be interested in shooting her wedding, too! My obvious answer: a thousand times, yes.

Like Jessica + Tyler, I go way back with these two. Yep, I knew them before they were a couple, too. They were both fellow South Johnston High survivors – and Ryan even teaches there now! How cool is that?

In high school, I remember Taylor being reserved, always smiling, and one of the smartest people in her class. Ryan on the other hand, was the class clown, a hardworking baseball player, and a wiz at math (I’ll let you guess what kind of teacher he is.)

These two ended up falling in love their last couple years together in high school, went to the same college, and now they’re engaged to be married. It’s so cool to see how their love story has come full circle – and I’m thrilled that I get to be the one to capture it. Stay tuned for part two of their engagement session in a couple weeks, we’re going back to where it all started!
