Sarah + Blake // Maternity Session at Sugg Farm Park – Holly Springs, NC
A few months ago, Sarah won a giveaway I did on Instagram for a free photo shoot. She had me photograph her gender reveal – which was so fun! Blake’s not one to smile much for pictures, but he was grinning ear to ear when they found out they were having a boy.
Anyway, the gender reveal shoot went so well that Sarah wanted me to shoot her maternity photos as well. AND, her sister wanted me to shoot her engagement session and wedding – which I blogged about a few posts back. So long story short, ONE teeny tiny giveaway I did turned into me basically becoming the unofficial Langston Family Photographer – and I’m clearly not mad about it. 🙂
Like many of the couples I photograph, Sarah and I go way back. Like I said, you may remember her sister from a previous post, Jessica, who was good friends with my younger sister in high school. Well, Sarah was besties with my older sister back in high school, too. So we all spent a lot of time together. It’s so sweet to see where life has taken her since our days as Trojans!
We were originally supposed to do this session at the beach, but weather on the coast hasn’t been cooperating the last few weeks! And since Sarah is pacing ahead of her due date, we wanted to make sure we got some pictures of her and the bump before Baby Tart makes his arrival. If he decides to stay put, we’ll get some more bump shots at the beach in a few weeks – fingers crossed!
