Introducing: one of my favorite parts of downtown Raleigh: The Warehouse District!
Oh, and one of the cutest couples ever: Lakyn + Tyler.
There are so many spots to hit in this part of town, it’s not even funny. You wouldn’t believe how much variety you can get for a photography session within just a couple blocks!
Let’s start with Union Station itself. For those of you who are like, “what’s Union Station?” I’m glad you asked! It’s Raleigh’s new train station. And it makes the perfect urban backdrop for a photo shoot.
When we were standing on this patio taking photos, Tyler stopped me and said, “It would make this girls day if went and took some photos in front of that Christmas tree. No one loves Christmas more than she does.” He’s talking about the Christmas tree inside Union Station. I love that he saw it and immediately thought of her!
Next up: the parking deck on top of the Dillon building! The Dillon is one of the newest additions to the Raleigh Skyline. It offers new, hip restaurants, shopping, office space, and luxury apartments. And… an amazing view!
Next up, the area near Father & Son’s. The buildings over there are the perfect mix of urban, modern, and industrial. We snapped a few photos there to top off the session! And we grabbed one with Lakyn’s best friend, Kirby.
